When I commute to work I smell awful toxic smells coming from the Avenal Cutoff near the orchards trees and there is always semi trucks going in and out driving crazy and leaving mud all over the roads. The fumes coming out of that area are awful and pollute the air and the inside of my car i hate driving in that area because of the smells they make me nausious

Bad foul odor coming from the Avenal Landfill, we have concerns about methane and other harmful gasses/pollutants being introduced to the residents of Avenal. Me my wife, five children and elderly parents live less than a mile from where all this garbage is being dumped and disturbed daily, my four year old daughter has developed asthma and an infection in her lungs. My kid is not the only one I have a few friends that have children that have been getting Ill more than usual, we the residents of Avenal are concerned about our families well being. please help!!

It seems that air in avenal has a strong smell and may be containing some toxic fumes that citizens are breathing and causing health issues specially babies and infants, it's very important if there is a way to test air quality for our love ones, and if there is some kind of contamination in our air any other way to please submit a petition to stop and close the land fill, our health is FIRST. It is not fair the city of Avenal has exchanged our health for money. And make who ever responsible for all this provide medical care for all people in town that has gotten sick from all this, thank you hope something can be done. Please come join city council meeting 01/09/20 at 5:15 pm inside the Avenal theater. We need urgent help
